What does it mean to you to be representing QLD South as part of their development program?

It means i am recognised as one of the top players in my age group in QLD. It also means i will have the opportunity to play with other really good players and to get more coaching and competition experience to help me to continue to improve and become a better player. It also means that i am one step closer to aching my long term goal of playing for Australia.

You just finished a successful stint at the Australian U14 Girls Club Championships. Do you feel your game has progressed since that Tournament?

The U14 Australian championships was an awesome experience where i had heaps of fun and was really happy that our team won a gold medal. Since then, being involved in the Blue Chip program has been really good - i have had lots of good training and have learned many new skills that have helped to improve my game.

What aspects of your game do you feel have improved?

Getting the ball inside and going up strong to the basket. My defence on other post players is something that i have been working on and i think that is improving as well. My outside jump shot and free throws have improved lately which is great!

What do you hope to get out of this tour to Port Macquarie?

I hope to improve my game by playing against other strong players and getting some good coaching for my position. I also hope to make some good friends, have lots of fun and hopefully win a few games!

What are your goals with Basketball?

To keep learning and improving; Make the QLD 15yrs Schools team; Make the QLD U16 team; Make it to the WNBL; Play for Australia; Make it to the WNBA!

How long have you been playing basketball?

I started playing for Falcons U10 mixed team in 2004 - when i was 6 years old.

Most memorable basketball moment?

Shooting the winning basket in the Grand Final at the Australian Championships this year, and winning the Gold medal.

Who has had the most influence on your basketball career?

My U14 BBI rep coach in 2009/10 David Jordan - he actually taught me how to play the game; as well as Ray Axam and Sarah Cohen who coached me last rep season and taught me how to play my position.
