WHEN DOES THE SEASON START?
Season kicks off last week of September
Yes, games are played in the school holidays

WHERE ARE THE GAMES PLAYED?
All games played at South Nowra Soccer fields
Games are played on half-sized field with big goals
HOW LONG ARE THE GAMES?
Games are played with 2 x 20 minute halves
Junior games start from 4.30pm Wednesday afternoons
(4.30pm / 5.15pm / 6.00pm / 6.45pm / 7.30pm)
Senior games start from 6.00pm Tuesday nights / Thursday nights
(6.00pm / 6.45pm / 7.30pm / 8.15pm / 9.00pm)
TEAM SHIRTS & PLAYER EQUIPMENT?
Teams organise their own team shirts. All shirts require a number on the back of the shirt.
Goal Keepers are required to wear a different coloured shirt or bib.
All players are required to wear the same shirt. Shorts and socks are preferred to match but not mandatory.
Players are to wear shin pads, long socks and loose fitting shorts. Tights maybe worn underneath shorts.
No jewellery to be worn or taped.
Players are permitted to wear sports goggles, sports glasses or sports sunglasses as long as, in the opinion of the referee, they pose no danger to the player or other players. The Optometrists Association of Australia has stated that children involved in sport, requiring assisted vision, should wear protective eyewear such as sports goggles or sports glasses with soft or flexible frames fitted with a plastic or polycarbonate lens.
HOW MANY PLAYERS PER TEAM?
Under 9s up to under 16s – minimum of 9 players and maximum of 10 players
No, you can not have more than 10 players
Senior teams - minimum of 10 players and maximum of 12 players
HOW MANY REP PLAYERS PER TEAM?
Maximum of 4 rep players per team.
This includes Southern, Phoenix, SDFA Rep, Football South Coast Comp, etc.
Any player that has played in a higher league than community football.
WHAT IS THE AGE LIMIT?
Juniors - Minimum age is 7 years old, keep in mind they will be playing against 9 year olds.
Maximum age is 16 years old.
Seniors - minimum age is 16 years old. Those who are currently 15 year olds but turning 16 years old will require to sign an age consent form before they can play.
WHAT IF MY TEAM IS SHORT PLAYERS ON GAME DAY?
Minimum number of players to pay a game, is 5 players.
If you borrow players from another team, you must notify the referee and it is then a friendly game.
If you know in advance that your team needs to forfeit, please let us know with as much notice as possible

CAN I PLAY FOR MORE THAN ONE TEAM?
Junior players can only play for ONE team.
Senior players may request to play in both Mixed and Men’s/Women’s competitions, but only if approved by the board.
