Interested in becoming a scorer or timekeeper?
Like all official positions within Basketball a pathway exists for those dedicated people who may just want to learn the basics of how to score and time keep so they can assist at the weekly game for their children right through to anyone who wishes to work on a score table at an Olympic games.
A range of programs are offered through out the year which cater for the beginner score table person to training and education for ABL and NBL/WNBL officials.
Basketball SA has a panel of dedicated score table people who have chosen score table as their social sporting adventure. The Executive of this panel is charged with the role of overseeing the rostering and development strategies for education of score table officials. Membership of this panel is free and enables you to be kept up to date with the latest on score table systems, methods and rule changes.
Basketball SA is seen as leader in Australia for developing new and innovative programs and ways to recruit, train and retain scorers. Many of these programs form the basis of the national development program.
