Hi all, I am sending this email to inform all players that basketball needs your help. The sports needs a new committee to run the 2014 season.  Without a committee the sport can't start for the new year.

If you are interested in being on the committee, the following position's are required to be filled.

President, Vice President, Treasurer, secaturary , registrar, committee members.

Most of the time you are required to be at the stadium on the game night's which is Tuesday from 5:30 to 9:30 and Thursday 5:30 to 9:30. This is to fill the roles to keep the game going. It can range from doing bar work or coordinating the referee's.

There is a monthly meeting which can run up to an hour.  Most of the day to day tasks are carried out by the admin and games coordinator as directed by the committee. This has allow the committee to focus on the sport of basketball and not have to worry about paying bills and sending letter's. 

 There has been two Annual General meetings in 2013 with no position's being filled. The next Meeting will be the last attempt to start the sport for 2014 and if the position ain't filled the centre will shutdown. There is only a few committee members interested from 2013 who will be on the committee but not any of the main positions.

The last attempt for an AGM will be on the 21st of January 2014 at the stadium (in the bar) 6pm.
