The night turned out to be a blazing glory for the Blazers club taking out the trifector of the Industrea A Women's 58/57 from Matariki, the Skytrans A Men's comp 80/61 from Home Boiz and the Realway B Women's comp 46/27 from Celtic.

The Campbell's B Men's comp was won by Kinetic Men 2 53/37 from Blazers and the Buff's C Women's comp was taken 29/28 from Meteorettes in a real nail biter to the last.

The Mount Isa Basketball Association would like to congratulate and thank all competitors for the amazing effort and sportmanship put in by everyone. Thanks also go to the wonderful volunteers Katrina Gall, the Meteorettes, Mrs Bower, Owen and Tara Glasscock, Craig (Boof) Hodgetts, Connor Preston, Kylie Richardson and Phil Makkai who put in many hours keeping the food pumping out and the bar flowing. It was truly a mammoth effort and without you it would never have run so smoothly. Carmen Preston, Shari Barwick and Pearl Isaacson also put in a terrific effort manning the scorebench with Andrew.  The list goes on with so many people who without we would have had a very different spectical on the day.

The entertainment provided by the Mount Isa School of Dance and the wonderful DJ Richo added to the supercharged atmosphere of the night which went on after the games were over with the Meteorettes making the most of the empty courts and partying on. Good on you girls.

There are more photo's available and will be posted on the website soon. If you would like a copy please see Anita in the office.
