2026 Winter Registrations

Shooters Basketball Club Inc. junior player registration for the 2026 Winter season is now open.
Each player registers directly into a team via a registration link which is unique to that team. Your team manager will provide you with the link for your team.
Note that the registration links change each season so please do not use bookmarked links or information from previous seasons.
Also, please ensure you use the correct link for each of your children to avoid registering them into the wrong team.
Player registration fee remains unchanged at $280 per player.
Registrations close on Friday, March 6, 2026.
Various discounts are available. The most common are:
- parents who coach their child's team receive one free player registration per team coached;
- teams that do not have a coach and/or do not train pay a reduced fee;
- families that have 3 or more children playing in Shooters teams pay a reduced fee for the third and fourth child.
Please ensure you select the correct player registration option when registering.
Note: when using the family discount for 3 or more children, the first 2 children are registered at the standard rate, the 3rd child at the 3rd child rate, and the 4th and subsequent child/ren at the 4th child rate.
Please also note that during registration on PlayHQ, Basketball Victoria manages their own Annual Participant Licence fee, independent of the Shooters Basketball Club - this is charged at $34 for players under the age of 18, or $48 otherwise, and lasts for 12 months (so should only be charged every second season). Similarly, Basketball Australia is also charging a $5.50 annual fee.
Details are on the Basketball Victoria website: https://www.basketballvictoria.com.au/play/registration-information and on the Basketball Australia website: https://www.australia.basketball/news/3739877/game-development-levy
* The Victorian Government via Get Active Victoria has a Kids Voucher Program (unfortunately closed at the moment, however Round 10 is opening in February 2026) which can be used to offset the cost of player registration fees. To apply for a voucher, go to the kids voucher program page and click on Apply For Vouchers.
To claim a voucher, when paying on the Payment page in PlayHQ, in the shaded area under Government Vouchers, select Get Active Kids (VIC) and enter the voucher code you received from the application.
There is a PlayHQ support article about government vouchers here.
