UMPIRE REQUIRED

Dalmain Primary need a umpire for their Netta team participating in the Belmont Carnival this Sunday. You will be paid $50 for the day and transport to and from will be provided. Please contact Sallie on 0408 669 307 if interested.

 

Net Set Go 

Wanneroo District Netball Assn has been very lucky to receive sponsorship from Ertech to purchase a Net Set Go Activity Centre.

This is the only Activity Centre in the Metropolitan Area (the only other in WA is in the North West Region – also sponsored by Ertech).

The Association would like to acknowledge and thank Ertech for their wonderful support.

Ertech are based in Wangara, and are one of the largest employers in the City of Wanneroo.

ARENA JOONDALUP 13th & 14th August

Come and see the brightest up and coming stars of Australian Netball, this weekend at Arena Joondalup.  Admission is free for all spectators.

Its State v State as the Western Sting take on South Australia and Victorian Fury over two days. Victorian Fury and South Australia will also play the NSW Waratahs. This is your opportunity to support your State as Western Sting put State pride on the line in the Australian Netball League.

2011/2012 STATE ACADEMY PHASE 1 TRIALS

All Netball WA members who are age eligible (between 14 and 16 years of age as at December 2011) are invited to register for Phase 1 trials for the 2011/2012 State Academy.  Details for the trials are as follows: Registration Forms are attached.

 

DATE:                    SUNDAY 21 AUGUST 2011

TIME:                    8.45am – 4.00pm

VENUE:                RAY OWEN SPORTS CENTRE

                                Gladys Road

                                KALAMUNDA

 

COST:                    $20 per athlete

 

To be considered for selection in the 2011/12 State Academy and 2012 17/U State Team, attendance on Sunday 21 August 2011 is compulsory.

 

Successful athletes will be required to attend Phase 2 trials which will be held on Sunday 28 August 2011.  At the completion of Phase 2 trials the 2011/12 State Academy will be announced.

 

This year there will be no exemptions from Phase 1 trials and all athletes must attend.  Consideration of exemption will be given to athletes that are injured and for extenuating circumstances but this will not be a guarantee through to the next phase.

Doves Duncraig  – 1 x Volunteers to be supplied from 8.00am – 10.00am

 

Padbury Catholic – 2 x volunteer to be supplied from 10.00am – 12.00pm

Westcoasters – 2 x Volunteers to be supplied from 10.00am – 12.00pm
