Positions Available
All Junior Age Groups – Boys and Girls in each of the following:

All appointments are contingent upon nomination of a team into the relevant BNSW competition.
If you have already applied for a position in the first round, you do not need to resubmit an application unless you would like to change your preferences.
Position Descriptions
The Division 2 Head Coach will be responsible for:
- Team Coach – Division 2 Program
- Floor Coach at combined weekly age group training session, guided by Program Head Coach
The Assistant Coach for each team will work under the guidance of the team coaches for all games and practice sessions.
The Technical Assistant is a new position in 2018. Part of our player and coach development plan is to make use of video and communications technology to improve the quality of feedback that we can give players and teams around improving performance. Technical assistant coaches will work with each team in their age group, under the guidance of the Program Head Coach.
Coaching Selection Criteria
All applicants will be considered against the following criteria:
- Basketball / coaching experience relevant to positions applied for
- Coaching development / education undertaken in the last 12 months
- Current / previous involvement with Maitland Mustangs Basketball Programs
- NCAS Coaching Accreditation level
- All applicants must have a valid WWCC to be eligible for appointment
