MAITLAND BASKETBALL NOVEMBER COURSES -REMINDER
BNSW will be running referee courses here on the 7th November.
We will be running a beginners course on November 7th starting at 4.30pm and running through to 8.00pm. I recommend that all Rep Team managers and coaches attend as it will give you a good insight into what the lastest refereeing techniques are. Anyone wishing to attend this course need to email chrish@maitland.basketball.net.au ASAP as numbers will be limited due to hosting the course here for the whole Hunter region
Beginners referee Course 4.30pm - 8.00pm
Presenters discussion 8.00pm - 8.30pm - This is for people that would be interested in presenting referee course in the future. You will be required to attend the referee beginner course first during the day. There will be a discussion after the course, then you would be required to attend a presenters course in the near future.
Referee coaching course 8.30pm - 9.30pm - Ideally sorted to those wishing to assist in further developing our local referees. You need to be a minimu m of 16years old to attend this course. I recommend that all our domestic referees attend this course as it will futher enhance your ability in assist each other on the court come game time.
Newcastle Basketball will be hosting the Pre Game Presentation on the 8th of November- Once again I recommend all our referees attend, local domestic, and representative referees.
