Thanks to Donaldson Coal and the Newcastle & Hunter Youth Development Trust support we were able to send to of our most promising referees to the "Pacific Coastal Slam"

Both these boys have been supported throughout their refereeing careers so far by Donaldson Coal and the Newcastle & Hunter Youth Development Trust. These organisations help fund the development program we have in place and through this funding we were able to support Craig and Daniel to attend the PCS. Please a report from both boys below.

Craig Goodman  My experience on tour was fantastic! I learnt heaps form the training days, and on court from the ref coaches through the whole week and also made new friends that I will not forget! I would definitely go again next year if I got go given the chance to and I would also recommend it to people at Maitland!

Daniel Oyston  Pacific Coast Slam was an amazing week away from home, this gave us referee's the opportunity to not only gain skills and knowledge, but to be able to challenge ourselves in building confidence and other skills in life. We got to make new friends and push ourselves to do our best which has helped us heaps. I would like to say Thanks to all the referee coaches and staff that assisted our week away....
