BASKETBALL COURTS ARE READY FOR ACTION
Maitland Basketball Association is gearing up for the new season 2011, part of the maintenance over the off season was the re-surfacing of all the court floors. The courts now have the latest FIBA markings along with fresh bright keyways. It has been a very large investment by the association by one we feel will keep us at the top level of the indoors venue throughout NSW. To add to the program we have been successful in our submission to the Tooheys New Crew favours. The Tooheys New Crew is a team of tradies on the road to do a million beers worth of favours for Australia.
The crew would love to have the local community get involved and welcome any offers of labour, products or services. If anyone is interested in helping out, they can email the crew on crew@tooheysnewcrew.com.au Once the work has been completed, the Tooheys New Crew is inviting all of Maitland down to The Belmore Hotel on Saturday 19 February between 4pm-6pm to celebrate with some of the members of crew. The crew would like to shout everyone a beer to say thanks for the town’s show of support
