As chairman of the board of Maitland Basketball Association I am very pleased to inform our members that the board along with representatives from the Rep Committee, Coaches Committee, Life Members and organisation sponsors will get together on Saturday morning to discuss goal setting and strategic direction for our club moving forward.                                                                                                               

This positive meeting will look to formulate a 12 month and 5 year plan for our club and give guidance to our new General Manager to help steer our ship.

We are in a great position thanks largely to the work of the board and committees of the past and we need to be effective in how we move forward.                                                                                             The club has also been extremely fortunate to secure at no expense the services of Mr Keith Gavin to act as a facilitator on the day. Keith is the CEO of a local not for profit organisation and has a business background that will be a major asset on the day. I personally thank him in advance for giving up his time to assist.

In the coming weeks I will post some of the outcomes of this meeting and truly looking forward to working with the board to ensure that our club is the most successful it possibly can be both on and off the court.
