Warwick Wildcats win ARRBL - again!!

There were no suprises in the Grand final of the ARRBL Reserve Grade Mens match with old rivals Warwick and Tenterfield battling it out once again.

Tenterfield got of to a great start and led the game for the first half, at one point stretching out to a 10 point lead. By the end of the third quarter though, Warwick had bridged the gap, after switching to a half court pressure strategy which ultimately won them the game. The final quarter was close but Warwick had their noses in front and controlled the tempo at the end and managed to hold off a final charge from Tenterfield and won quite comfortably.

All season these two teams went basket for basket - with most games finishing a 1 or 2 point margin. Warwick showed maturity in the final minutes and showed that the young group of players are developing the mental toughness to close out games when it matters.

Warwick remains to remain the only side to win the Reserve Men's Division in the history of the ARRBL.

The team was captain / coached by Duncan McKenzie and the team was:

DJ Cremasco, Sam Cremasco, Josh Cremasco, Dean Clark, Andrew Stubbings, Nick Quinn, Duncan McKenzie and Ben Long.
