Under 14 Boys

2nd Semi – Rebels 37 defeated Speewa 26. Leading league point scorer Nyawi Moore with 378 points has posted a further 31 points against Speewa to win the game and gain a place in the grand final Wednesday 16 March. Top scorers for Speewa were Elijah Miliado wth 13 points and Noah Simmons 5 points.

1st Semi – Saints 27 defeated Trotters 19. In a close first half Trotters started the game well but by half time Saints were leading by 1. It was a good team effort by all the Saints players to overcome the Trotters team and to advance to the next finals step the prelim final.

Prelim Final – Overtime Speewa 31 defeated Saints 25. In the first overtime final this season Coady Gorringe played well to help the Speewa team move into the Grand final. With the scores locked at 23 all at the final term an extra 5 minutes was played. Saints were in foul trouble and finished this period with only 3 players on the court but they fought to the end. Top scorers for Speewa was Corey Gorringe with 14 points and Saints Matty Gardner scored 16.

Grand Final – SPEEWA 33 (Elijah Miliado 16, J Mulcahy 7) defeated REBELS 31 (Nyawi Moore 26, A Threadgold 4)

Under 14 Girls

2nd Semi – Tigers 42 defeated Swans 27. This game was a lot closer than the scores indicate. Tigers played a very good defensive game which in turn led to transition scores in their favour. Tigers had three players that recorded double figures while Swans Mila Wilcox and Mia Hawkins tried hard and never stopped competing. Top Scorers for Tigers Brooklyn McGregor 14 and for Swans was Tash Kelly 17 points.

1st Semi – Rebels 33 defeated Fireflys 24. The first half belonged to Rebels as they were much more assertive in offense with perimeter points coming from Lily Stacey and Charlotte Rush to lead by 13 at half time. Brontie Ridley and Tarni Anderson applied more pressure in defence for Fireflys in the second half and started to penetrate to the basket but were unable to stop the Rebels team consistently from scoring.

Prelim Finals – Swans 30 defeated Rebels 26. Swans led for most of the game and held onto an exciting finals atmosphere four point win. Tash Kelly and Mila Wilcox played well for Swans and Lily Stacey tried hard for her 14 points for Rebels.

GRAND FINAL - SWANS 43 (Tash Kelly 23, Mila Wilcox 10) defeated TIGERS 35 (Molly Brown 19, Ruby Kelly-Guthrie 11)
