Club playing shirts and water bottles.

It has come to the committees attention that the club policy in relation to playing shirts and water bottles is not been adhered to.

This week we have been approached by some managers for more extra club water bottles as they have given them out to the players to take home and now they are lost.

The club policy is that water bottles are to be taken to and from the games by the coaches/managers every week then on the final day of the season distributed to the players for their keeping. We as a club only budget for a bottle per player each year and have no spares as it is a very costly exercise to provide this benefit. Unfortunately if the bottles are lost they will not be replaced.

Also it has been communicated to the committee that playing shirts have been taken home by players after games. Again against club policy as there is a danger that players do not turn up next week for what ever reason and the team will be down a shirt or worst again they are lost. Playing shirts is one of the clubs greatest expense and we need to insure they have a lengthy life span going into the future.

I kindly ask for all coaches and managers to be aware of the policy for both bottles and playing shirts and to please follow for the benefit of all club members.
