Well that's all folks - well nearly
Hope everyone had a great time last night and the kids are impressed with their trophies.
Whilst every care is taken with regards to the trophies, from time to time spelling errors occur for one reason or another. The spelling that was used was checked at the time of the photographs by coaches and/or managers so they should be correct however, if for one reason or another there is an error, please have the owners contact Toni at NQ Plaques and Trophies at Forrest Ave (cnr of Ross River Rd) and she will correct it for you. (Toni is a member of our Club so please be nice to her J)
Don’t forget that the all the Club equipment is to be returned this Tuesday or Thursday afternoon between 5 and 6pm. The equipment includes shirts, training balls and cones, water bottle carrier (water bottles go to the players), water cooler if you had one, etc. We will be set up at the front of the Clubhouse so you should see us there as you drive in. Unfortunately I will be away with work on Tuesday but will be there on Thursday.
Some team officials have already expressed an interest in coach next year which is great to see but I will send out an email around December/January asking for expressions of interest for 2012. We keep players together in teams where possible and if players return to the Club on sign on days, which ill be the Sunday of the Australia Day Long weekend and the Sunday after that, I will guarantee the players are in the same team. We can not hold spots in teams so please encourage your players to come to our sign on days.
Remember, the Club is holding its AGM on Sunday 11th December if you would like to get more involved. We have a great team running the Club but always looking for an extra set of hands or two. You don’t have to take on a position unless you want to, you may choose to simply be a volunteer to help our an hour or two each moth or so.
Well that’s about it for 2012, you will continue to receive emails from me during the off season but they will be significantly reduced in number. Have a safe off season and hope to see you all next year.
