Fee Structure.                   ALL players will pay a fee of $95.00 to play Oztag per season there will be NO additional fees each week to play. Insurance costs are included with the fees. New players will still have to complete the individual Membership form and receive a card. This card is perpetual (last forever).

                                                Players after week 2 will not be allowed to take the field if they have not paid their fees.

                                                The team must have 10 players paid for ( if you chose to play with less then you must still pay for 10)Mixed teams need 3 girls on the field at all times

                                                A teams Minimum payment is $950.00

                                                Eftpos is available at the grounds

To secure your team in the draw we require $380.00 ( equivalent of 4 players rego) This can be dropped to me Monday Wednesday or Thursdays or I can provide account details for direct deposit

 

 

Uniform                               ALL players in your team MUST wear the same uniform ie same colored shirt with a number on it. As of week 3 this will be enforced. If you have a player out of uniform 1 try per player not matching will be awarded to the opposition. Official Oztag shorts must also be worn they can be purchased from the Venue for $25.00

 

Referees                             If you become a referee and ref a game each week prior to or after your game you will receive free registration for one team ( this will be reimbursed at the end of the season on top of the money that you earn for reffing) If interested please see Craig or myself. A minimum of 8 games must be reffed

                                                Referees will receive a shirt and a whistle and must bring them to each game. Training will also be provided along with the rule Book.

 

Merchandise                     Merchandise will be available for purchase such as shorts, socks, stubbie coolers, hats, umbrellas. If you have something you want let us know we will source it for you. Team shirts can be made. Very good quality. Orders for Merchandise require full payment prior to order being placed

 

Notification of games    The draw will be emailed to the delegate and will be able to be viewed on www.townsvillecentraloztag.com. (Monday Wed) Or www.townsvillesouthoztag.com (thur and Juniors)

 

 

 

 

JUNIOR OZTAG SEASON COMMENCING

5 year olds to 15 year olds

 

Another exciting season of Junior Oztag will be commencing soon. Our numbers doubled last year and we are expecting another huge growth this year. Again Junior Oztag will be run on a Thursday afternoon/early evening.

An exciting new change will be, our location. We will be running Junior Oztag out of  the MIKE CARNEY TOYOTA fields (aka Hugh Street Rugby Union Fields). The Union grounds have great facilities with a licenced Bar with plenty of treats for the Children to chose from. We are also negotiating BBQ’s and hot food with them. You can also stay around and play a seniors game if you are feeling up to it as many parents have done in past seasons

 

Sign Ups

Where                                                 Our New home, MIKE CARNEY TOYOTA FIELDS ( aka rugby Union Fields Hugh  Street) We will also be doing sign ups at local shops however an email will be sent when we have confirmed the shopping centre dates

 

Season Games Commence  TRIALS        8^th September 2010. Full comp starts after School Hols 6^th October

 

What to bring to sign ups

 

Bring a friend/s or an entire team. Teams consist of 11 players. If you can’t fill an entire team let us know we will add children to the team. Approach your current winter team and bring them along it’s a great way to keep your team together in the off season.

 

The cost to play Oztag is $75.00 there will be NO additional fees such as game fees each week.

FEES can now be paid via EFTPOS cash or Cheque or direct bank  deposits ( please note $1.50 surcharge on eftpos transaction)

 

For new players they will need to purchase shorts from Townsville Oztag. Membership/insurance cards will be supplied for all new players. Remember last season players received a card which lasts a lifetime of playing Oztag.

 

Oztag is growing fast and as such there are opportunities for the Juniors to play representative Oztag such as a State cup. Stay  tuned throughout  the season for details. Again I am teaching Oztag at local schools so your child may come home with the flyer if I have attended that school
