Cyclone Clean Up At Brolga Park
Thank you to those people who attended our first working bee last Saturday.
Unfortunately there is still a massive clean up to be achieved.
Further "working bees" will be held at Brolga Park.
This Sunday, 20th February and Sunday 27th February from 8am to 3pm
There are lots of small branches/twigs to pick up on the fields, chain saw of trees, branches to be taken into car park, shade shelters to be tidied, lots to be done.
We urgently ask clubs for their assistance by supplying people to clean up Brolga Park. It is very wet here, so old joggers would be suitable foot wear.
FYI and action if possible. As discussed at the meeting today, we don’t expect coaches and managers to do everything. Please pass onto your respective teams and try and get someone out to Brolga Park next Sunday.
Ian will be thereto coordinate the “Rebel” contingent between 8 and 10am. J Don’t have to go all day, just an hour or so would be appreciated so that we can kick off on March 13.
