Where it Began

Gary Hydes - Founding Coach 2009-12
Gary was 1 of the 3 original volunteers behind Rollerblaze. Gary was a very enthusiastic coach who also spent many hours, every week, driving to Brisbane to collect basketball chairs which we borrowed when we first started.

John Stubbs - Volunteer
John joined us in January 2011 and has quickly become a very valuable member of the team. On Thursday nights he helps to set up the score bench, get the chairs out of storage and then he assists with the scoring during the games. Saturday mornings sees John helping some of our junior players with their basic basketball skills. John always has a smile and everyone looks forward to seeing him at basketball. He has recently completed his first aid certificate and also the referees course.
