Gambling Machine Community Benefit Fund donated 7 Quickie All Court basketball wheelchairs to RollerBlaze. Gold Coast City Councillors Clarke, Crichlow, Grew, La Castra, Pforr, Robbins and Sarroff donated a Quickie All Court basketball wheelchair to Rollerblaze. No 8.

Rollerblaze entered 4 teams (1 A grade and 3 B Grade) to The Classsics Tournament at Boondall Stadium.  A grade finished 8th and B grade (1029ers) finished 2nd.

Rolleblaze entered into a Memoradum of Understanding with Basketball Queensland as a pilot project with the objective of inclusion. We believe this relationship will demonstrate to the basketball community, be it local associations or providers for athletes with a disability,  the efficiency of sharing resources and the power of unity within the game.

Monday 6 June 2011
Rollerblaze attended Basketbal Qld State Conference at Chandler Stadium to introduce wheelchair basketball.  Basketball officials from all around the State were able "have a go" at basketball in a wheelchair.

Rollerblaze entered 2 B grade teams in the State Championships - The Classics - held at Boondall Stadium. The teams finished 5th and 6th.  Icemen with 3 Rollerblaze players finished 2nd in the A grade comp.

13 - 15 January 2012 
Rollerblaze entered two B grade and one A Grade teams in the Sunshine Coast Spinners annual tournament.  In B grade Rollerblaze Blue won gold medal and Rollerblaze Lions won the bronze medal.  Scott Boland was named in B Grade All Star Five. In A grade Rollerblaze won bronze medal from 10 teams.

Eagle Pumps Gold Coast sponsored a third B Grade team in the Thursday night social competition.

Rollerblaze entered two teams in B Grade division in the State Championships - The Classics.  102.9ers came second and Blaze came 6th from 8 teams. Rollerblaze player Scott Boland awarded the Invacare Basketball Wheelchair.

Wicked Wheelchairs donated a RAM Basketball Wheelchair to the programme.  The chair was used by Tige Simmons OAM at the Beijing Paralympic Games where the Australian Rollers won the Gold medal
