Mat is highly respected in the Qld basketball family for the time he has spent mentoring new players who have improved their skills because of his input.

Rollerblaze volunteer Bruce Wilson spent time renovating the bright red chair which will give many years of pleasure to people yet to try our game.

Since Rollerblaze was founded in 2008 seven  players have donated basketball wheelchairs.  Our fleet now includes chairs donated by Dean Rhodes (our very first chair), Nadia Romeo, Steve Fell, Peter Mills, Shane Bourne and "Skatie" Coleman. We also have chairs donated by Gold Coast Active and Healthy Programme,  Nerang Highland Park Lions, Robina Quota, Councillors from the City of Gold Coast, Wicked Wheelchairs, Gold Coast Community Benefit Fund, Gambling Machine Community Benefit Fund and Jupiters Casino Community Fund.

Thank you Mat for your generousity and your huge commitment to wheelchair basketball in Queensland.
