Game summary: We started the game with intent and immediately looked to close down the opposition. We were able to quickly build some scoreboard pressure and our two bigs were able to provide some strength and extra avenues to goal. We finished the first quarter with a 6 point lead. During the second quarter Altona came back at us but were able to only reduce the lead by two. The third quarter was our best with a sixteen to three point effort. The pressure placed on the opposition by all the players was exceptional and provided the outlets for transition to goal. The final quarter was tighter but by this time our tails were up and we maintained our form to finish sixteen point winners. This game provided a good boost to our confidence with some tough games coming up. Well done everyone.
