Storm Under 14 Girls Runners Up at Shepparton
The under 14 Bellarine Girls have come home runners up at the 2011 Shepparton 'Show Me 'Tournament.
The girls enjoyed a challenging opening game against Swan Hill where they had to dig in from 10 points down to come up winners by 4 points.
In the remaining games the girls were dominate at both ends of the court and looked the goods until they came up against Echuca in the grand final who 'came to play'
The Echuca girls came out with a strong physical game and scored an early buffer which the Storm girls were unable to peg back.
A good start to the season for the girls with a runners up medal and they are sure to taste success during the season.
Next up they will try their luck at the Eltham/Dandenong Australia day tournament before phase 2 of the Friday night grading competition continues .
