BASKETBALL DEVELOPMENT & HIGH PERFORMANCE MANAGER
The Bellarine Peninsula Basketball Association Inc. is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and energetic individual to the position of Basketball Development & High Performance Manager.
The position will take a lead in the management and administrative duties of the Storm Representative Program, along with the coordination of BPBA’s development programs to increase participation numbers and advance the quality of the domestic competitions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Management and administrative duties of the Storm representative program
- Provide coaching direction, education and assistance across the Storm program ensuring a uniformed approach to individual player and team development.
- Build relationships with local schools to assist with promotion of BPBA Programs
- Coordinate various development programs including Aussie Hoops, Slam Jam, skills training sessions, holiday programs, Storm academy, and Opal League
- Recruitment, development, accreditation and education of Coaches, Referees, Statisticians, and Score table officials across all levels of competition.
- Work with Board to develop plans for further development opportunities within the association.
The position is full-time including weekend hours, and is based at Bellarine Sports Centre, Drysdale.
Pay rate to be determined with successful applicant.
