Girls Back For Country Champs
Former Bellarine juniors Bree Matthews and Alison Marsh will represent Bellarine at this years under 18 Country Champs.
The girls are both products of our program having both played for Bellarine since the ages of 10 and 12 and are now Representing the Melbourne Tigers in the under 18 VJBL Championship Division.
The girls boast an impressive 15 MVP's between them and will be a more than handy addition to the under 18 Bellarine Girls side .
Ally and Bree have not forgotten their home association and can be found putting back in on Sunday afternoons, helping the under 14 girls Storm side train which they both have sisters in.
The girls will also quite often train with various other Bellarine sides including Tyrene and Tony's under 16's.
Bree a point guard is in her second season with the Tigers while forward Ally is in her first.
Both athletes make the journey up the highway three times a week to further their basketball journey.
We are looking forward to the girls suiting up in their home colors at the Champs and wish them and the side the best of luck.
