Farewells and changes ahead
BPBA would like to advise of some recent and upcoming changes within our organisation.
Our long-standing Operations Manager, Vicki King, along with Development & High Performance Manager, Natalie Hughes have both recently tendered their resignation.
Vicki commenced her role with BPBA in January 2008. Throughout this time the Operations Manager’s role has evolved from competition management, to management of finances, governance and planning. Her knowledge of our association and its people and goings on will be sorely missed.
Natalie took over the Basketball Development role October 2015. Nat has taken the Storm Program to new heights, whilst also implementing a variety of other development programs and strategies. Her knowledge, experience and passion for all things basketball has buoyed our association and has set the groundwork for the role moving forward.
Both ladies will be finishing up with BPBA early in the new year and we wish them well with their future endeavours.
We ask all members to ensure that all correspondence with BPBA is now directed to the admin@bpba.org.au email address.

BPBA would also like to acknowledge that at our Annual General Meeting on 5th December 2017, Stephen McHenry was elected our new president.
Steve Anstis, our President for 11 years has moved to the position of Treasurer. We thank Steve Anstis for his significant term and contribution as President and are fortunate he continues on as Treasurer.
We welcome Peter Byrne onto the Board. Peter is a life member of Melbourne Tigers and has represented Australia as a player. He brings a wealth of basketball and management experience to our Association.
