Under 12 Storm Girls Champions at Eltham/Dandenong

The under 12 Bellarine Storm girls have continued their good form by taking out their division at the 2011 Eltham/Dandenong Tournament .
The girls showed strength and mental toughness in a grand final battle with Ringwood which went down to the wire with the Storm girls only getting away in the last few minutes with temperatures reaching  40 degrees.
Congratulations to Teagan Tatlock who was grand final MVP and to Mali Herzer who won 'The Most Determined Player' for the tournament selected by Head Coach Brendon Matthews.
This is the second tournament win for the girls who have also taken out the Warrnambool Seaside Classic.
The team currently sits in pool AA in the Friday night VJBL competition with a chance of making the prestigious 'Championship division' or at worst Metropolitan  1 division.
No matter where the girls end up it has certainly been a fantastic start to the season and we wish the girls the best of luck .
