Playing under a false name
Information for all players
It has come to the notice of the BPBA, that several players appear to have recently been playing competition in various teams and utilising false details i.e. incorrect names (playing under false identity). It is uncertain as to the intention of these individuals though it can be assumed it is to evade particular basketball policies and procedures and perhaps secure wins against opposing teams. It must be stressed that this approach is against the current code of conduct and ethics relevant to Basketball (and in fact any sporting code)and does place the BPBA in the position where it now is reviewing its policy to ensure this practice ceases and individuals are dealt with accordingly.
