Regional Challenge East V’s North West Regions 2011
Well done to the Bellarine Storm U12 Boys who competed in the East v's North West Regionals over the school holidays at Waverley Basketball Stadium.
This is the third year of the challenge and the format of the challenge is a total of ten games, which are played in all age groups, with the final outcome being the winning of the David Hickman Shield.
The U12 boys were up against Nunawading Spectres, who are a very strong team. The boys played a sensationally hard game and with an close game throughout, the final score came down to a draw of 22 points eache. Well done to all the boys who competed and a special mention to Hamish Goodeir who was selected by the officials as MVP for this game.
