Under 16 / 18 Championship
Fixtures - Unfortunately, due to road damage and flooding in the North-West, the team from Onslow is unable to make it to Perth to participate in the Championships this weekend. There have been a number of amendments to fixtures to accommodate this change.
Please stay tuned to the website, as there is another team from Karratha which may be affected as well by the cyclone damage.
Parking - please be advised that the Parking Inspectors were out in force last week fining cars which parked illegeally. Please be careful where you park. If necessary, find car parking across the road in Perry Lakes.
Door Entry - the fee for entry to the WABC is $6.00 per head on Saturday and Sunday for all participants and spectators. There is a $20 family ticket for 2 adults and children in the same family.
Playing time - Each game will consist of two eighteen minute halves with a two minute half time. There will be only ONE time out per team per half. There will be no time outs in the last three minutes of the second half.
Semi Finals will only be held in Divisions where there are 5 teams entered. These games will also consist of two eighteen minute halves with running clock. In the event of a tied score at the end of regulation, a five minute overtime with running clock will be played.
Grand Finals will consist of two eighteen minute halves, with the clock stopping in the last three minutes of the second half. In the event of a tied score at the end of regulation, there will be a five minute overtime period with the clock stopped in the final three minutes.
Aussie In Action Photographers will be in attendance on Sunday 27th only. They have a previous engagement with the Rottnest Channel swim on Saturday. Please see Wendy in the foyer to arrange action or team photos.
Referees- Each team is required to supply a referee for each game of the weekend. In the event that teams make it into a Semi Final, the teams will be required to supply the referee for that game as well. Referees are appointed for Grand Final games only.
Presentations will be held at the conclusion of the Grand Finals on Court One. It is expected that the presentations will be at approximately 2.00pm on Sunday.
