Roy Prosser’s achievements:
Member of WA Country Commission and Basketball WA Executive for many years.
• Instrumental in having WA Country admitted to the Basketball Australia National Junior Championships in it’s own right. Previously, WA only sent one team – mostly Metro, and there were very few opportunities for Country athletes.
• Instrumental in having WA attend the Australian Junior Country Cup in Albury Wodonga each year.
• Instrumental in commencing the Country Referee Development Program.
• Attended 48 out of 50 Country Championships as a player, referee, coach, administrator & commissioner
• Part of the Executive that initiated the commencement of the new stadium.
Roy Prosser medal and scholarship.
• Awarded annually to a Country WA Referee for outstanding performance at the Country Cup.
