Hi Footy Heads! Your faithful Phantom is back with another review, just a little late I know.
Cottage life was just a little too good to me! Looked like a great weekend of footy in Ontario once again but the margins much greater than I had anticipated. Here is my review of #AFLOrd10 as we get closer to the business end of the season.
Rebels 19.11.125 def Wildcats 2.3.15
Tough day at the office for Cats who took on the top of the table Rebels at Humber South. Rebels came out of the blocks pretty hard and never really let up the pressure. Only a couple of goals for the day for the Cats while the Rebels had a few multiple goal kickers. Bodnar and Love had 4 each while Murdoch finished with 3 goals.
Safe to say the Cats would have been looking forward to the final siren in this one.

Gargoyles 17.11.113 def Demons 9.3.57
Despite being short the Demons players who were in attendance had a go on Saturday at Humber South. Starting with 14 and finishing the 15, the Demons Aussies contingent of Anjou, Sammutt and Quigley worked hard but they just didn't have the depth of the Gargoyles.
Despite missing some key players, the Gargoyles stepped up and got a much needed win and a percentage boost they will need going into the finals. Kerm kicked 5, Dyer 4 and O'Reagan 3 as they lead at every change and never really looked like dropping this one.
Phantom 2/2
Blues 19.11.125 def Eagles 4.8.32
The Blues may have had some key Canucks out for this one but basically all of the Aussies were in attendance with 14 goals being kicked between 4 of them. Shorty had 6, Wills and Daws 3 each and Doc 2 as they steamrolled the Eagles who have quite a big list on Sporting Pulse. Not too sure if that is correct though as they haven't managed to put in their goal kickers or best players either.
A big win much needed by the Blues as they look to solidify their spot in September while it looks a lot less likely for the Eagles to be featuring.
Phantom 3/3
Hawks 17.5.107 def Roos 7.7.49
The Hawks had their Big 3 all back in the line up for the first time in a number of weeks and played some great footy at UTSC. With 13 of 17 goals between Shutts, Dullard and Killa it is clear the Hawks are back and ready to make their run for September.
The Roos were short and started with 16 and while they are expecting some key players to return soon, I think their chances in September are limited but they should still get there. Cuzner kicked 2 goals for the Roos on Saturday while AJ and Bridson battled hard down back.
Phantom 4/4 in #AFLOrd10
Swans 22.11.143 def Dingos 8.11.59
Another resounding victory by the Swans at home as they smashed the Dingos who's season is basically now over as they sit 2 games out of the 6 and would need some serious upsets to sneak in. Stafford kicked 5 goals for the Swans while Powell and Walsh had 4 each as they ran all over the Dingos. Stafford would be a big chance for the league best and fairest this year - lots of goals and probably votes too.
The Dingos best included the skipper McKay along with Humphries who kicked 3 and Turner Bloom who kicked 2. A tough season for the boys in red and black, they have 2 easier games to finish the season. They need to win both to have a slight chance but will likely still miss out on September.

Swans 3.10.28 def Blues 0.3.3
It seems I got the Women's games around the wrong way in the preview but something seems to be wrong with Sporting Pulse as game dates are not the same?
The Swans and Blues did hit it out at Humber South, and I know this as I saw Rob Colburn's photos so I will review this one. Not a huge amount to say, the Swans snapped the Blues win streak as both sides missed their key players and had smaller numbers.
Paradis, Sloot and Nguyen were the goal kickers for the Swans

That's it for this week, Footy Heads! Stay tuned on Friday for the upcoming #AFLOrd11 preview!
