NT UNDER 16 ASSISTANT COACHES ANNOUNCED
Basketball Northern Territory are pleased to announce Assistant Coach appointments for the Northern Territory Under 16 Girls and Boys teams.
Under 16 Girls Assistant Coach - ELIZA KEANEY
Eliza brings a wealth of knowledge from her coaching experience at Caulfield Grammar Girls school in Victoria where she was Head Coach of their very successful Girls program. Eliza is a qualified Sports Scientist previously working with the Victorian Institute of Sport and has also applied her performance analysis skills with Tennis Australia and most recently the Geelong Football Club. Eliza's analysis experience will be of great assistance to the team and Head Coach Brittany Ward.
Under 16 Boys Assistant Coach - MICHAEL NIXON
Michael is currently an active Coach within the Darwin Basketball Association with coaching experience extending from Junior through to Senior competitions. Michael last year was appointed to a Manager's role with the Under 14 Darwin Cyclones Boys, where he was also given the opportunity to provide coaching assistance to the team. Coaching in the 2018 Under 16 Boys competition has provided Michael with a valuable insight into the NT squad's current skill set and potential which will be a invaluable asset to Head Coach Brett Maksimovic.
