Remote Project Contractor position vacant
The Remote Project Contractor will be responsible for delivering basketball participation programs into remote Northern Territory communities.
With programs of varying length from now until July 2018, there are communities from all over the NT that you will travel too via road - driving a provided vehicle, or by plane – on both scheduled and charter flights.
This ‘after-school program’ is a combination of the national Sporting Schools and Aussie Hoops basketball junior participation programs and requires the contractor to be flexible, culturally aware and able to adapt to requirements of each community to deliver a sports program best suited to their requirements.
This role would suit a person with basketball and junior sport experience, with a flexible, tough, forward thinking attitude that wants to explore and contribute to communities across the Territory.
Successful contractors will require a full driver’s licence, an OCHRE card and will also need to undertake specific Cultural Awareness training and experience in this area will be highly regarded.
The role has an attractive daily rate and additional provision for meals/expenses, accommodation at each community is provided.
