Executive Officer, Basketball Northern Territory

This is a unique opportunity to live and work in the Northern Territory and make a significant contribution to the development of basketball in the NT. The Executive Officer of BNT oversees the day-to-day managementof the business and gives direction and leadership towards the achievement of the strategic and operational objectives.

Salary: $68 000 plus five weeks leave, superannuation, and car and mobile allowances.

BNT is the peak body for the administration of basketball in the Northern Territory. It aims to provide strong leadership to enhance the participation of all Territorians in basketball.

Reporting to the BNT Board, the Executive Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the business and its paid staff and volunteers.

To be considered for this role you will need to be a dynamic and inspirational leader with the ability to engage and develop lasting, positive relationships with paid staff, volunteers and the wider basketball community, including stakeholders and sponsors. You will have a successful track record in managing and growing a similar-sized business and a strong ability to think strategically and innovatively.

Prior experience in the not-for-profit sector, including sports businesses, will be highly regarded but is not essential.
