Naylor Begins With a Bite

Pint sized point guard, Tomas Naylor has made the move down to play with the Kilsyth Cobras in Melbourne. Naylor has been a part of the NT Under 16 Teams over the past two years and has taken the step to further his basketball career. The diminutive guard who played for the TV Jets follows in the footsteps of Tyrone Foster, Aaron Reinbott and Arjen Smit who have all played for Kilsyth over the past 3 years. The relationship with the Melbourne club has been established following a visit to the Top End by Kilsyth Director of Coaching, Rod Popp in 2008. Naylor will remain in the NT under 18 Squad with the final announcement of the team on the 21st February 2011. He hit the court running and his team made the final of the Dromana Tournament on the Mornington Peninsula last week. Basketball NT wishes Tomas all the best in his basketball and schooling in Melbourne.
