Fitness Phenoms Period

For the first five weeks of the NITP Program, athletes were put through a gruelling fitness regime. Combining school, club committments, Under 18 State Trials and the Induction Camp, the month of November has been pretty busy.

The next phase will include introducing our offensive transition, continuing to improve individual offensive and defensive fundamentals and completing a fatigue holiday shooting program over December and January.

99% of athletes improved on the beep test. The first one was held during the first camp on the 24th October with the second one held on the 24th November.

A big thanks to ITP Network Coaches Brian Lawrie, Steve McGugan and Got Talent Sports' Anthony Hazeldine on their input into this period.

An ITP Holiday Camp will be held from the 10th - 13th January at the Darwin Basketball Association. Keep an eye on the BNT website for allocated session times for athletes. Club coaches are welcome to attend.

That's great - we want you to have your say and share your thoughts with the world. However, we have a few rules that you must follow to keep it fun for all. Please don't be rude, abusive, swear or vilify others. Apart from some pretty serious sport sanctions, we also can ban you and report you if things get out of hand.
