Parkes will commence trials on Monday 3rd February for the upcoming Western Youth League (WYL) competition. WYL is a representative competition, involving the top teams from across the Western NSW. The competition is held on Sundays across the region, commencing in May with match locations and times to be confirmed. Age groups start from Under 10's through to Under 16's, with competitive ages groups from Under 12's upwards. The top 2 teams in competitive groups will then quality for the Country Cup finals.

In 2019 Lachlan United teams had a very successful campaign, competing against teams from across Dubbo, Mudgee, Bathurst, Lithgow and Orange. All teams developed their skills and confidence and proved to be competitive against some quality opposition from our region.

We encourage all boys and girls interested to attend the trials in hope to enter more teams in boys and girls divisions and continue to provide players with these valuable experiences in 2020.

Please note, WYL requires alot of time and organisation with support required for coaching and managing. WYL is a representative competition, therefor it is important that players are committed to all training sessions and make themselves available for all weekly matches. Teams and age groups will only be formed if numbers are viable across age groups.

          13 to 16 year old - 7pm to 8pm
