Central Coast Mariners National Youth League Competition Match in Mudgee on Sunday

The Central Coast Mariners' National Youth League team will return to Western NSW in 2013 to play their first ever competition match in Western NSW as part of their A-League National Youth League Competition when they clash with the Australian Institute of Sport on Sunday January 20th, 2013.

Mudgee’s iconic Glen Willow Regional Sports Stadium will play host to the National Youth League fixture.

The defending premiers of the National Youth League – Central Coast Mariners – are currently leading the NYL in 2013 and will be expecting a tough challenge from the AIS.

Having taken over from Tony Walmsley, new coach John McLafferty has enjoyed a strong start to the season with a lot of new faces in the team’s playing personnel.

The Central Coast Mariners NYL squad will also run a coaching clinic on Saturday at Glen Willow Ovals at 4:30am for players 14 and under (players to bring a ball) with all players within that age group encouraged to attend. The CCM NYL squad will then have a light session with coaches invited to observe.

Central Coast Mariners Football Manager Lawrie McKinna will host a seminar and question/answer session on Sunday at 1:30pm about the Central Coast Mariners philosophies and coaching aspects related to the A-League club for all interested coaches.
