The Toronto Dingos would like to formally announce the appointment of Chris Buczkowski as Head Coach for 2011. “Butch” joined the club in 2001 and since then has amassed a slew of personal awards and accolades, including club B&F and multiple highest goal kicker, as well as 3 premierships. He is the first Canadian Head Coach for the club, which really speaks to his personality, and intelligence.
He succeeds Mick McFarlane, who has had to step back a little bit, but remains involved as an assistant coach. The club would like to thank Mick for all his hard work over the past few years. He has been a champion player, and outstanding coach, narrowly missing a premiership in 2010 when the club lost in the OAFL Grand Final.
The Dingos would like to congratulate “Butch” on his appointment and we look forward to watching him grow and evolve as a coach in this league throughout the season. Lets get behind him, as we make 2011 another successful premiership campaign.
