The Delta Bayhawks are the first team through to the British Columbia Australian Football League Grand Final in two weeks time, defeating the Vancouver Cougars by 8 points over the weekend.
The Bayhawks trailed at halftime by 7 points but produced a 4 goal to 1 second half to get over the line. The victory gives the BayHawks a weeks rest while the Cougars will now face off against West Coast Saints in next weeks preliminary final that will decide the last Grand Final position.
The West Coast Saints accounted easily for the Burnaby Eagles in the BCAFL elimination final with a 5 goal third quarter setting up the win.
