DUBBO DIRT BIKE CLUB
The club has been around since the 1950’s when off road riding was first introduced to Dubbo region. The track was originally a natural terrain course with Triumph and BSA four strokes the bike of choice.
The current incarnation of the track was constructed during 2002 and has been undergoing continuous modification and improvements right up to this very day.
About 200 riders from around the central west make up the membership of Dubbo Dirt Bike Club. There is a strong emphasis on growing and developing junior riders with many club riders now performing strongly in state and national events.
Seniors are well catered for with a wide range of competitive classes. There is always tight racing on hand with the track providing many racing lines and technical sections allowing ample passing opportunities.
Over the last three years our Club has been able to give back the local community by donating over $7,000 to local cancer patients and charities including the Dubbo Base Hospital Special Care Nursery.
The Dubbo Dirt Bike Club is recognised as one of the premier motocross tracks in the region, and we have reached 200 members, which continues to grow every year.
This year we are holding 5 race rounds which includes our Mac Daddy Cup and each round attracts approximately 100 riders each round as well as spectators.
2018 will be our biggest year yet, as Dubbo Dirt Bike Club is honoured and privileged this year to be hosting a qualifying round of the junior and senior NSW Motocross State Titles (King of MX) and a round of the premiere East Coast MX Series which will bring hundreds of riders and spectators from across NSW, as well as other states, to Dubbo and our track over 4 days.
