NNZ Coach Workshop: Planning for the Season - Thursday 3 December
A little forward planning never hurt nobody after all a goal without a step-by-step plan merely becomes a wish without the necessary drive and organisation skills to take it further.
If you're a coach who's keen to upskill and expand your netball know-how here's your chance to make the most of your off-season for your own personal development. Why not attend some coaching courses aimed at teaching you the best techniques, sharing ideas and supplying you with the right knowledge to be the best coach you can be? Course content has been compiled by experts from Netball New Zealand and even offer the chance to gain recognised accreditation for your efforts.
In an effort to set you off on the right foot this Planning for the Season workshop explores the benefits of seasonal, monthly, weekly, game day and team talk plans along with the importance of evaluation and self reflection. Plus we'll have plenty of handy tips and templates to share to make life easier.
We welcome you to attend this handy learning opportunity suitable for coaches who have already completed the Player Centred Coaching course and are keen to build on the basics - let us help you add more tricks to your coaching toolkit.
Suitable for all levels – those who are first-timers and those with plenty of years experience seeking fresh ideas.
This course if one of five compulsory courses that contribute towards achieving the Community Coach Award (CCA). The five include Player Centred Coaching, Communication & Managing Others, Team Building, Skill Analysis and Planning.
When: Thursday 3rd December 2020

Time: 6.30pm to 8.30pm
Where: Hataitai Netball Pavilion, 43 Ruahine Street, Hataitai
Cost: $20 per person if aged 18 years or older. $12.50 per person if a secondary school student or under 18 years of age.
