The importance of perfecting the art of shooting is undeniable as when all's said and done it puts points on the board!

If you're a coach who's keen to upskill and expand your netball know-how here's your chance to make the most of your off-season for your own personal development.  Why not attend some coaching courses aimed at teaching you the best techniques, sharing ideas and supplying you with the right knowledge to be the best coach you can be?  Course content has been compiled by experts from Netball New Zealand and even offer the chance to gain recognised accreditation for your efforts.

Our next course on offer is Shooting which focuses on walking through the sequential steps involved in putting up a successful shot.  And what's more, allowing this technique to become automated, streamlined and consistent.  This 2.5 hour course covers activities that will assist the development of shooters including skill correction, shooting roles and movement around the circle.  For those coaches that are more mid-court or defence orientated and need to learn to talk the shooting course, this session with really help while those who are self-professed experts at shooting may walk way with some fresh ideas.

While this workshop is geared towards the netball code and is Netball New Zealand accredited, general concepts may be applied to other sports that rely upon shooting to score points.  We therefore welcome attendees from other sporting codes should there be interest.  We'd like to help you prepare as best you can to allow both you and your team to have a highly enjoyable learning experience for seasons to come.
