Mid Canterbury Netball is looking to find a suitable candidate to fill the Netball Development Officer and Umpire Coordinator roles.

The successful applicant will be required to be a skilled communicator, highly organised, well planned and reliable. The ability to relate to and work closely with other netball personnel, players, coaches, umpires, and teachers in the netball community is essential.

Other competencies preferred are strong netball knowledge and the ability to work unsupervised.

Mid Canterbury Netball is presently developing a new strategy adapted from Netball New Zealand’s Poipoia Strategy – Connecting and Inspiring Communities through Netball – as well as implementing new initiatives to meet outcomes of the Tu Manawa Active Aotearoa initiative, and both of these will play a big role in the position going forward.

This role is contracted for up to 35 hours per week.

This position could job share: Netball Development Officer 25 hours and Umpire Coordinator 10 hours.
