Netball New Zealand works hard to support Netball’s five Zones and 83 Netball Centres who deliver the game to its 145,000 registered members and 399,000 plus people who participate in the game annually, in New Zealand. The primary purpose of this position is to lead and drive the training and support of the Netball Development Officer Network across Netballs five Zones in order to enhance the standard of nationwide coach development training and programme delivery.

The National Training Manager has a strong focus on ensuring that Netball in New Zealand has sufficient suitably qualified Coach Developers with a responsibility to design, develop and lead the national training and accreditation plan for Coach Developer training across New Zealand.

To secure this position you will have broad sporting sector knowledge and experience from within the community sport arena with specific knowledge of Netball coaching and coach development. Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills that generate trust and respect must be a key strength along with experience developing strategies, planning, budgeting and communicating effectively with stakeholders.
