Singapore Sports School's sport programmes aim to develop student-athletes based on Long-Term Athlete Development principles, while acknowledging their academic aspirations and building character. Our team of expert coaches is supported by sport scientists to provide optimal training and competition for student-athletes founded on the principles of LTAD.

As a coach within the Netball Academy, you will be responsible for planning and implementing the training and competition plans for a group of assigned student-athletes. You will conduct regular meetings with student-athletes and their parents and submit written progress reports. You will work with the General Manager, fellow coaches and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• Possess NCAP Level 2 Technical Certification or equivalent (NNZ Community Coach minimum, NNZ Performance Coach an advantage)
• Experience in teaching and a basic degree in Physical Education and/or Sports Science is an advantage
• At least 3 years of competitive coaching experience at elite youth level
• A commitment to values inculcation and character development
• A deep understanding of talent development, athletes’ development pathways and Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD)
• Good administrative and organizational skills and able to communicate well in English
