Would you like to continue to be actively involved with Women's Football, but you don't want to play anymore?
Does the idea of being an integral part of each game interest you?
Would you like to have fun, get fit and paid to do it?
If you answer yes to any or all of these questions, then maybe Umpiring with the South Australian Women's Football League is for you?
You may be thinking:
- 'I couldn't Umpire because I don't know all the rules"
- "I'm not fit enough" or
- "What if I make a mistake and pay the wrong decision and get abused by players"
These are all very normal thoughts when people consider Umpiring for the first time however, in reality it's a lot of fun and you can stay involved with the game that you love.
We will provide you with the opportunity to be mentored by qualified Umpires.
Please don't simply dismiss the notion of Umpiring without taking the opportunity of talking to me about the other opportunities that may be available to you.
If you are interested and would like to find out more, please call Patrick Willis, Umpire Development Manager on 0439 367 279 or send an email to patrickw@sanfl.com.au
