It was a fairy tale finals campaign for the Stars in 2013, coming from the bottom half of the WNWBL Finals draw to defeat to Victoria and then the Stacks Goudkamp Bears in the Grand Final 43-40.
The WNWBL title triumph was the club’s first, with the team eager to add another championship to their collection when the 2014 campaign tips off in July.
In all 45 games will be played over four months, culminating in the WNWBL Finals Series to take place in Brisbane from 17-19 October.
The 2014 season begins in Sydney at the North Sydney Indoor Sports Centre, with reigning minor premier Victoria taking on the Minecraft Comets on Friday 18 July.
