The final regular season round of the 2011 Women’s National Wheelchair Basketball League is set for Sydney University in Sydney this weekend, with the match between the home town Sydney University Flames and the To Be Active Western Stars, the first of 10 games to be played this weekend.

After three rounds of an identical format, Round 4 again sees each of the five teams play each other.

The VIC Dandenong Rangers have remained undefeated throughout the season with a 12-0 record, and sit comfortably atop the WNWBL ladder. Their closest challenger, the To Be Active Western Stars have beaten every other team except the Rangers, and head into Round 4 with a 9-3 record.

The Stacks Goudkamp Bears will be hoping to build on their 5-7 record this week, which would see them cement third place on the ladder. But on their home floor, the Sydney University Flames will be hoping to finish the regular season on a high, by adding to their 3-9 record which currently has them in fourth place.

The Minecraft Comets will also look to finish their first regular season in the competition on a positive note, by snatching a win in their final games.

Following this round the season moves into finals, which will be played at the Northern Suburbs Basketball Centre in NSW, on the weekend of 23-25 September.
